Shellycoat

Notes

So today I've decided to introduce you guys to the world of Celtic and British Mythology through the medium of Monster Girls. Because if I used actual depictions, they'd all end up in the Nightmare Fuel gallery.

The Shellycoat, like most of the Faery Folk, are viscous little shits that delight in causing misery to humans.

At their most benign, they are tricksters who pretend to be a drowning person getting carried down or up stream to lure travellers on a wild goose chase.

At their worst, they still pretend to be drowning, but stay in one place; hoping to lure a passer-by into trying to save a drowning person who is not there and they often do this where the river's currents are strongest; either dragging down or carrying away any who attempt to swim through it.

Faeries are dicks.
