Thanks to a guest user, I learned the real origin. Not a tweet from 2021 as I had thought but a Tumblr post from 2018. Thanks for the anonymous tip!

Did some digging to find the origin of this meme after it kept popping up on my Twitter feed. The phrase "Gay Gay Homesexual Gay" was used just a few times earlier on the internet by a few random Twitter users. But unless this comic edit was posted somewhere else, this is the origin.
