M20 Director Yuyama: Makoto's/Verity's Mom is NOT Cynthia

Director Yuyama states that Makoto's mother is in fact not the Champion Shirona! This shocks the other commentators who tell him that they (as well as fans all over the world) have been going around the last year or so thinking that Makoto's mother was the Shin'ou Champion Shoko Nakagawa pressed the director several times to tell them who Makoto's mother is but he insisted on being incredibly coy about the whole thing, for no reason 中川 「これって、お母さんって。。」 湯山 「似てますよね」 中川 「似てますよね。シー·シロナ?」 昜山 「いえいえ違います。髪の色が違います」 中川 お母さんって…?」 昜山 お母さんですよ(笑)お母さんですよ。髪 塗るが違う」 中川 「シロナ何ではない?誰なんですか?」 湯山 お母さん」 Nakagawa: "So this is.. .her mother...it's...?" Yuyama: "It does look like her, doesn't it?" Nakagawa: "Yes she doe Yuyama: "No, no. That's not it. Her hair color is different." Nakagawa: "So then her mother is...?" Yuyama: "Well..her mother. Her mother is her mother. Her hair coloring is different." s. So it's...it's Shirona?" Nakagawa: "So it's not Shirona? Then who is it?" Yuyama: "...her mother." Mr. Yuyama later says that Makoto's mother is famous but he doesn't give any other information than that. The best part of the whole exchange, to me, is Shoko Nakagawa's "W-- are you talking about old man?" face during this whole exchange

Straight from the man in charge of the movie, it's now official: Cynthia is NOT Makoto's/Verity's Mom.

I figured this was the case from the different hair color and a couple key hair details missing, but official confirmation (for the second time, this has been said before, actually) is nice. Even if he is being needlessly coy and ambiguous about it.
