Frustrated

Coming out is hard enough But coming out in a world where everyone equates trans people with- xie/xies/xieself pronouns, ocean gender, hot pink undercuts, non-binary demi-boy heteroromantic queerplatonic demi-tuesday sexual extra special snowflakes is f. cking horrible I just want to be a man. I am not trying to make a political statement. I am not trying to bust the patriarchy or trash the gender binary, I just want to feel comfortable in my own skin. Maybe one day I can look in the mirror and like what I see. Maybe l can meet someone and fall in love. Maybe l can be a better friend. Maybe, one day I won't feel broken But these bored, middle class, middle America, boring, attention-seeking, hive-mind women don't speak for me!
