WHAT I EXPECTED:
A hack-n-slash with the high-octane action of Devil May Cry (Presumably the 3rd or 4th game) with co-op elements inspired by Ultimate Alliance 2 (Seriously, those team attacks are fucking awesome).

WHAT I GOT:
A bland, repetitive one-button masher, with little to no plot stringing it together, that lasts 2 hours, and RT expects you to beat the game 50 times over just to unlock all the upgrades. Oh, and if you thought $40 for Marvel Ultimate Alliance was bad, at least you had stuff to do in that game. Grimm Eclipse has just the bare minimum for $25!
