Are you a fan of the MOTHER series? If so, check out Cognitive Dissonance here. It's a fangame made in RPG Maker 2003, set in between MOTHER and EarthBound.

I downloaded it expecting some edgy fanfiction in a setting similar to the Halloween Hack-- and ended up with something much, much more. Despite being made on a crappy engine and the beginning being rather underwhelming, after the first few chapters it quickly picks up and becomes quite amazing, really.

Again, if you're a fan of MOTHER it is definitely a must-play. You'll probably see why a few of these images are relevant if you get through it.

Also this is the first time I actually put an image together.
