When Pearl reforms in "Steven the Sword Fighter" you can see some of her past/possible regenerations:

1. An unknown design, with hair matching one of the pre-Pilot concepts, and fancy sleeves and skirt that don't match any known design. Old-timey painting Pearl from "So Many Birthdays" maybe?
2. Pearl from Pilot (WTF? It shouldn't even be canon)
3. 80's Pearl from "Story for Steven" – a whole year before it even aired! This is some masterful foreshadowing there.
4. Season 1 Pearl
5. Current Pearl

These are certainly not all of her regenerations – her design from flashbacks in "Sworn to the Sword" and "The Answer" is missing, and presumably many more that she must have had throughout the millennia.
