Anonymous asked The whole "down with cis" thing makes me uncomfortable, because It makes me feel like we're putting trans people up on a pedestal just for... Existing. I mean, lots of trans people are douchy, self entitled d----, yet tumbir treats them as if they can do no wrong and it's cis people who are the problem..Like... The problem isn't a person's gender identity. It's their attitude SORRY I MISSED THIS ONE! I guess I see where you're coming from. Personally, I don't want to be treated like I'm better than anyone else. If I do or say something wrong, I want someone to tell me, "Hey, Zach, you should apologize, cause that was mean." don't want folks to let it slide just because I'm trans. And I certainly don't want to be viewed as some kind of god based solely on my gender identity. If you're gonna view me as a god, view me as a god for everything else about me, 'cause, as we all know, I'm f------ flawless Basically, treat everyone the same, y'know? Show folks respect and kindness regardless of how they identify. No one is better or worse than anyone else because of things beyond their control, like gender, race, or sexuality.
