Nozomi Toujo

Nozomi Toujo is one of the 9 main characters in Love Live! School Idol Project. She is the oldest of the 9 girls, and considered the most perverted due to her "Washi Washi".

Origin

Nozomi made her first appearance at the first episode of the anime, as the vice head of the school council. She joined the club in episode 4, and is the person who gave suggestion of the μ's for the school idol. Throughout the series, she has been considered the most perverted girl in the club, thanks to her special action named "Washi Washi", which is her action groping the other girls' chests from their backs. Ironically, this is the opposite to the fact that she is the wisest amongst them^[1].

Nozomi's Washi Washi has been very popular since it's a sort of Yuri move, where one girl gropes the other girl from backwards, with Nico being targeted mostly by her. Her signature move has spawned numerous meme, especially to mock how she grope the others' busts while her breast itself is big on size. Several memes also mock her relationships with Eli Ayase, her childhood friend, where they're so close until people started to think that they're both are yuri.

In Me.Me, she has her own collection of memes^[2].

Just like Megumin, Nozomi is often called "Nozomeme" due to her spawning many memes in the anime society.

Nozomi has her own subreddit at r/washiwashi, with about 2.600 subscribers recently^[3].
